Vector versus Raster

Raster- is a data structure representing a generally rectangular grid of pixels, or points of color, viewable via a monitor, paper, or other display medium.
Vector- a geometric object that has both a magnitude (or length), direction and sense, i.e., orientation along the given direction.
Bitmap- a type of memory organization or image file format used to store digital images.
Anti-aliasing- the technique of minimizing the distortion artifacts known as aliasing when representing a high-resolution signal at a lower resolution.
PDF- (Portable Document Format) is a file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for document exchange. PDF is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system.
AI- (Artificial intelligence) is the intelligence of machines and the branch of computer science which aims to create it. Major AI textbooks define the field as “the study and design of intelligent agents.
SVG- (Scalable Vector Graphics) is an XML specification and file format for describing two-dimensional vector graphics, both static and dynamic.
Adobe Illustrator- is a vector-based drawing program developed and marketed by Adobe Systems.
Adobe Photoshop- a graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems. It is the current and primary market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation, and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems.
“Save Link As”- an option when you right click which allows you to save a word that links you to another website or information

Short Story: what I did this vacation

During the break, my friend Jessie came in to town from Oklahoma. I got to hang out with a lot of my friends. My friend Anna-Marie spent Christmas with my family. It was pretty fun. I got an i pod touch. Then we went to Oklahoma to spend Christmas with my grand parents. I read the book Cujo by Steven King. It was all right. Then I had SAT tutoring twice a week with a guy named Krishna. The rest of the time I generally just was really lazy and watched TV and played video games.
